Keydets travel to DC to face George Washington

LEXINGTON, Va. – Looking to pick up a big road victory, the VMI women's soccer team travels to Washington, D.C., to face George Washington University Thursday afternoon.

Kick-off is set for a 3 p.m. start at GW Soccer Field on the Mount Vernon campus. The game will not be live streamed.

The Keydets are led in scoring by freshman Taliyah Headman, who has two goals on the season while junior Samantha Uschold has accounted for one. Paige Becker and Bailey Reid each have one assist for the year.

Freshman Maren Ryberg has played all but 55 minutes in the box so far this season and has logged 50 saves (.676 save percentage) through seven matches.

About the Revs (2-2-2)
George Washington opened the year with a win over crosstown rival American before two consecutive ties with Drexel and Colgate. Following a loss to Binghamton on the road, the Revs picked up a 1-0 win over Howard last Thursday. Most recently, George Washington is coming off a hard-fought 2-0 loss to Towson at home this past Sunday.

Kathleen Ngulefac leads the team with two goals on the year while five others have registered one goal apiece. Kalia Kau, Alex Caldwell and Elizabeth Cruz each have one assist for the season.

Kate Silverstein has played all 540 minutes in the goalbox and has allowed just 10 goals through six games played for a 1.67 goals-against average. She also has 23 saves for a .697 save percentage.
