VMI Director of Track and Field Zack Scott:
?"We had a great meet with Trent Whittaker winning the men's 800m with a new outdoor personal-best time.  Gavin Jenkins finished 1st in the 3000 steeple chase. Solomon Ghosh finished second in the men's discus, breaking a 40-year-old school record. Completing our top five finishers on our team, Andrew Granger also threw a personal best in the hammer throw and finished fourth. We had another cold, windy and sometimes raining day. Our team focused on what they control and just competed."
