Track and Field teams earn USTFCCCA All-Academic status

NEW ORLEANS – The VMI track and field teams performed well both on and off the field of competition as both the men's and women's teams were recognized by the U.S. Track and Field and Cross Country Coaches Association (USTFCCCA) as All-Academic programs announced Monday.
 
In order to achieve the status, the program must earn a team average GPA of 3.0 or higher.
 
The VMI men's team accomplished the feat with a 3.12 average GPA and the women's team hit the mark with a 3.02 average GPA.
