All-Time Series
The Keydets and Bulldogs have played a very competitive all-time series with the Bulldogs holding a slim 10-9 advantage dating back to 2004. While the Keydets have won the last two matchups, the Bulldogs won seven in a row from 2018-22 to pick up a large chunk of their victories over VMI.

The Citadel (3-4-2, 0-1-1)
The Bulldogs have claimed wins over South Carolina State, Gardner-Webb and Bob Jones this season while earning ties with Presbyterian and most recently with Wofford this past weekend. The Citadel opened SoCon play with a 2-1 loss to league leader ETSU last week before the draw with Wofford.

Elisa Fuentes leads the team with three goals to go with one helper while Adrianna Gill and Alice Williamson both have two for the season. Four others have accounted for one goal apiece thus far. Williamson has totaled 28 shot attempts, double the amount of Gabi Macer's 14 for second-most.

Lizzy Passwaters has seen the most minutes in the goalbox with 503 minutes on the year and has allowed nine goals for a 1.61 goals-against average and two shutouts. Zoe Santos has played 272 minutes in the cage and has allowed four goals during that span for a 1.32 goals-against average.

Last Time Out: Furman 2, VMI 1 – Sunday, Sept. 21
Knotted up at 0-0 at the half, the Paladins and Keydets came alive in the second half for three goals in the first 15 minutes of the latter stanza. Furman got on the board first in the 51st minute before VMI's Madeline Karsonovich tied it up at 1-1 just a few minutes later off an assist from Mackenzie Hobik.

Furman's Norah Roller earned the game-winning goal in the 63rd minute (62:10) to help the Paladins escape with the 2-1 win.
