Rusterucci named NEC Prime Performer

BRIDGEWATER, N.J. – Despite the team falling in a hard-fought contest at Robert Morris last Saturday, VMI senior attackman Luke Rusterucci was recognized as a Prime Performer by the Northeast Conference Monday morning.
 
The Peachtree City, Georgia, native logged a combined six points on the day by scoring three goals to go with three assists as the Keydets fell by a 15-9 score to the Colonials in Moon Township, Pennsylvania. 
 
He scored the three goals on seven shots for a .429 shot percentage for the day. He was also credited with one groundball.
 
Rusterucci has now scored at least one goal in 45 consecutive games, one of the longest scoring streaks in the country.
