Durkin named NEC Prime Performer

BRIDGEWATER, N.J. – After a solid outing against Cleveland State on Saturday, VMI sophomore attack/midfielder Beau Durkin was named a Northeast Conference Prime Performer by the league Monday.
 
The Castle Rock, Colorado, native earned two goals to go with two assists for four combined points in VMI's loss to the Vikings. He totaled four shot attempts on the day, two of which required a save from the CSU goaltender.
 
He now has 30 points for the season – 13 goals and 17 assists – which ranks second most on the team behind only Dayton Bagwell's 35 points.
 
The Keydets again play host this weekend when Robert Morris comes to town. The opening faceoff is set for Saturday at noon up on Drill Field 2.
