VMI Swimming Hosts W&M Saturday for Senior Day

LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI men's and women's swimming and diving teams will host The College of William & Mary Saturday in Clark King Pool at 1 p.m. The program's seven seniors (Calle Biles, Morgan Davis, Sarah MacDougall, Ben Marsh, Ryan Schmitz, Jacob Smilie and William Soldow, will be recognized in a pre-meet ceremony.

The Keydets have been off from competition for three weeks. The VMI men defeated Centre College 163-128 on October 18, while the women dropped a 188-92 decision. Sophomore Sophie Svoboda snapped two of her own school records in the 100 (1:08.47) and 200 (2:30.31) breaststroke, winning both events.

VMI squared off with the Tribe late last January in Williamsburg. W&M won the women's (204-46) and men's (193-66) competitions.
