VMI Women’s Swim & Dive completes day three of championship meet

LEXINGTON, Va. – VMI Women's Swimming & Diving heads into the final day of the America East Championships with high hopes after a solid third day at Goodall Pool in the VMI Aquatic Center Friday evening.
 
Emerson Cosner competed in the 100 Fly C-Final, finishing in 19th place (58.69). Cosner's prelim time (58.37) was the fastest mark by any Keydet this season. Parker Belle Fogle advanced to the C-Final in the 100 Breast and finished 18th (1:08.21).
 
The 400 Medley Relay team with Noelle Tong, Mackenzie Byrne, Fogle, and Cosner broke the team record (3:58.24).
 
VMI enters the final day of the championship meet in seventh place with 116 points, surpassing last season's four-day total.
 
Next Up
The final day of the championship meet will begin at 10 a.m. with prelims, then continue with finals at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday.
