Keydet Swim team Cleans Up after Storm

LEXINGTON, Va. – The Lexington community was hit by a winter storm this weekend, and the VMI swimming and diving team was there to help local citizens dig out from under it.

Numerous members of the team volunteered for this community service from 9:30-11:30 on Sunday. One group shoveled and cleared snow on the VMI Post and around the barracks. The second group worked with the Lexington Fire Department to clear walkways and driveways of disabled and elderly individuals in town.
