BOILING SPRINGS, N.C. - In its final meet of the fall season, the VMI Keydet women's swimming and diving team dropped a 152-108 decision to the Gardner-Webb Runnin' Bulldogs Saturday in Boiling Springs, N.C.
GWU jumped out to the early lead in the relay meet, which consisted of entirely relay races, including unique combinations such as the 3X100 yard backstroke. The Keydets (2-5-1) were credited with three wins in which the Runnin' Bulldogs exhibitioned their swimmers.

The others came in the 400 IM relay (Justina Dunne, Mackenzie Perkins, Ally Van Valen, Sierra Sell - 4:36.94) and the 200 free relay (Perkins, Lundy, Galvez, Johnston).
Diving was not contested at the meet.
The Keydets return to action Jan. 25, facing Ferrum and Washington and Lee at the Generals' home pool in Lexington. Action gets underway at 1 p.m.
