Advance Ticket Sales
Tickets for future VMI games may be purchased in one of the following ways:
- In Person: Tickets are available at the ticket office located in the foyer of Cameron Hall, adjacent to the South end of the Stadium.
- By Phone: Tickets are available by calling 540-464-7266.
- On the Internet: Visit www.VMIKeydets.com.
Alcohol Policy
There is a strict no alcohol policy in effect at the Stadium. Failure to meet this rule may result in removal from the Stadium.
Artificial Noisemakers
All artificial noisemakers are prohibited at the Stadium.
Concession Stands
There are three full-service concession stands located inside of the Stadium, with two being located on the concourse on the East side of the Stadium next to Clarkson-McKenna Hall, and a stand located on field level in the Northeast corner of the Stadium.
Doxology
Following the conclusion of each home contest, the VMI football team gathers on the field in front of the East stands to honor the Institute and its fans by singing the Doxology.
Family Atmosphere
Alumni Memorial Field at Foster Stadium is a place for families to come enjoy themselves in a clean, wholesome atmosphere. Fans are asked to refrain from using foul language while at the Stadium. Offenders may be subject to ejection from the Stadium.
Fans are also reminded to adhere to the Big South Sportsmanship policy.
First Aid
In the event of an emergency, please find the nearest cadet-usher, who will assist you. The First Aid station is located on the first floor of Clarkson-McKenna Hall, adjacent to the concourse located under the East (Home) stands.
Food and Beverage Policy
No outside food, beverages, coolers, bottles or cans are allowed into the Stadium at any time.
Gates Open
Gates will open 60 minutes prior to kickoff (12:30 p.m. for 1:30 p.m. kickoffs).
Guest Relations
Guest Relations is located at the Main Entrance Plaza.
Kids Zone
Located at the South end of the Stadium is the Kids Zone, including games, bouncies and other fun activities for young Keydet fans to enjoy.
Lightning Policy
Should a game be interrupted by lightning, all fans will be asked to immediately vacate the Stadium and proceed to Cameron Hall (adjacent to the South end of the Stadium), or to seek protection at their personal vehicles.
Lost and Found
Lost articles should be returned to a cadet-usher. These items will be announced over the public address, and can be picked up at Guest Relations at the Main Entrance Plaza.
Marchdown
Prior to each home game, the VMI Corps of Cadets marches from Barracks onto the field prior to the playing of the National Anthem. The Corps is slated to begin marching onto the field 20 minutes prior to kickoff.
Merchandise & Souvenirs
The Keydet Bookstore offers apparel, merchandise and souvenirs at their tent, located on the field level on the South end of the Stadium. For a wider selection of items, you may visit the Keydet Bookstore, located on the first floor of the Post Exchange, located in the new Third Barracks.
Pre-Game Parade
Prior to each home game, the VMI Corps of Cadets conducts a parade on Post. The parade is set to begin three hours before kickoff (10:30 a.m. for 1:30 p.m. starts), and is free to the public.
Parking
A limited amount of parking spaces are available on the Parade Ground for a $10 fee. The Parade Ground will open at 7:30 a.m. on all gameday Saturdays for parking except for the Oct. 17 Stony Brook game, for which the lot will open at 6:30 a.m. Free parking is available in other areas on post and at a satellite parking lot at the Lowe's store just north of Lexington on Rt. 11, next to Wal-Mart.
Parking Shuttle
VMI will provide a free shuttle bus ride from the satellite lot to Cameron Hall before the game and back to the lot following the game. Shuttle buses will be in operation well before game time, allowing those wishing to watch the morning parade and pre-game activities on post to do so. The shuttle will begin service at 9 a.m. and run continuously from the satellite parking site to the drop-off/pick-up spot at regular intervals throughout the game until one hour after the completion of the contest.

In the event that post police is needed, please find the nearest cadet-usher who will assist you. Post Police are circulating throughout the Stadium on gameday, but can also be contacted at (540) 464-9177.
Promotional Items
Throughout the course of the game, items may be thrown into the stands as part of a promotion. We ask that all fans act responsibly with those items so as not to disturb those around you, including throwing items onto the field, and failure to meet these guidelines may result in removal from the Stadium.
Radio Broadcasts
All Keydet home games are broadcast throughout the State of Virginia thanks to a four-station network. Locally in Lexington, the broadcast can be heard on 3WZ 96.7 FM, the flagship station for the VMI Radio Network. Each broadcast begins with “Keydet Club Kickoff Show”, which begins 30 minutes before kickoff.
Restrooms
Restrooms are located in three distinct areas of the Stadium. One set of restrooms are set on the field level at the Main Entrance Plaza in the Southwest corner of the Stadium, while restrooms are also available adjacent to each of the concessions stands, including on the field level in the Northest corner, as well as at the base of Clarkson-McKenna Hall under the East (Home) stands.
Sideline Access
Access to sideline areas is restricted to those with such credentials. We also ask that parents please keep their children away from the field of play for safety reasons.
Smoking Policy
There is a strict no tobacco policy in effect at the Stadium. Failure to meet this rule may result in removal from the Stadium.
Ticket Refund Policy
There is a NO REFUND ticket policy for VMI Athletic events.
Umbrella Policy
For the safety and convenience of all fans, umbrellas are not allowed in the Stadium. Umbrellas may be left at the Main Entrance Plaza upon entering the Stadium, and should be picked up upon exit.
Will Call
The Will Call Ticket Window is located in the foyer of Cameron Hall, adjacent to the South end of the Stadium.
