Women’s Track and Field shines at VMI Team Challenge

LEXINGTON, Va. – Marked by several strong performances, the VMI women's track and field team earned excellent marks at the VMI Team Challenge Saturday at the Corps Physical Training Facility.

The highlight for the women's team came at the end of the meet when the 4x400 relay team of Evelyn Anderson, Miracle Eric, SeMore Green and JeNiya White finished first in 4:08.32.

Sophomore Naturale Faison came in third in the 60m prelims in 7.68 seconds, and JeNiya White placed third in the 60m hurdles with a new PR time of 8.95 seconds.

In the 600 meter, Evelyn Anderson arrived in third place in 1:41.67.

Morgan Fraser led the high jumpers with a third-place height of 1.60 meters just ahead of teammates Genevieve Cummings (6th, 1.50m) and E'yana Watson (6th, 1.50m).
