LEXINGTON, Va. – VMI Baseball Head Coach Sam Roberts will be hosting the Sam Roberts Baseball Camps throughout the summer for all ages and skill levels at Lamore Field at Gray-Minor Stadium.


The Future Keydets Youth Camp is designed to allow young players to learn the game in a safe, structured, and fun environment. Players will learn individual skills, baseball fundamentals, and team strategy. The camp will teach through the areas of hitting, fielding, pitching, and baserunning. This is a youth baseball camp for 6 through 13-year-olds and will take place June 2-5 and June 23-26 from 9 a.m. to Noon. The opportunity to sign up for the extra-innings package is available.
 
The BaseCo Top Prospect Camp offers serious student-athletes the opportunity to receive quality instruction from exceptional and experienced baseball coaches. Our camps will provide advanced instruction by the VMI coaching staff, emphasizing the potential for NCAA Division I baseball. On the day of camp, players will perform an all-around evaluation by an NCAA D-I coaching staff, play games, receive instruction, and practice on the newly renovated Lamore Field. Day of camp and walk-up registration is allowed, and the camp is available for both high school prospects as well as Junior College players. Camp dates will be June 17, July 1, and July 29 and will run from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. A two-way and dual-position player package is available.
