The Keydets look to continue their strong start to the outdoor season. Sophomore pole vaulter Cameron Thomas got things started for VMI by breaking his own school record in the pole vault with a height of 5.10 meters last week at the Davidson Relays. On the women's side, multiple cadet-athletes placed in the top five of their respective events to represent the program well.

VMI Director of Track and Field Zack Scott
"This marks our first time ever competing at the Anderson University Track and Field facility and will provide a key opportunity for our decathlon and heptathlon athletes to make their season debut. I'm looking forward to strong performances in our second outdoor event of the year and valuable experience for the entire team."
