BALTIMORE, Md. – VMI Women's Swimming & Diving wrapped up its outing against UMBC and Howard Saturday afternoon at the UMBC Aquatic Complex.
The Keydets had five podium finishes in their losses to UMBC (227-72) and Howard (194-101).
Freshman
Carissa Witte posted a victory in the 500 Free (5:15.33). Witte also scored third in the 200 Fly (2:14.36).
On the boards, sophomore
Isabelle Haer shined with a pair of podium marks, tallying a second-place finish in the three-meter with 228.30 points along with third place in the one-meter with 215.70 points.
Also making it on the podium was senior
Noelle Tong, earning third in the 50 Free (25.09). The 400 Free Relay team with Tong, Witte,
Mackenzie Byrne, and
Lacy Delzell also finished third (3:40.56).
Next Up
The Keydets return to Goodall Pool for the Keydet Invite. The invite will include eight teams and runs November 14-16 with prelims starting at 10:30 a.m. and finals beginning at 5:30 p.m. each day.
