LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI Football Team will take its last road trip of the 2025 season Saturday, traveling to Furman to take on the Paladins at 1 p.m.

- Chandler Wilson registers first start of the season, goes 14-for-20 with a touchdown and an interception as VMI falls 52-10
- Ian Reynolds makes collegiate debut, Nana Utsey sees time at quarterback
- Owen Sweeney has just two catches but finds the end zone for the 8th time this year
- Morgan McPhaul has two catches for 80 yards
- Stephen Dean III leads the way with 7.0 tackles, EJ Wilborne has 5.0
- Six Keydets record 4.0 tackles including Amaje Parker who forced a fumble, tipped a pass and had a TFL
- Ivory Aikens paced the Wofford offense with three touchdowns receiving (86 yards)
- JT Fayard throws for five scores, 365 yards as Wofford totals 507 yards of offense

FURMAN FACTS
- The Furman season has been up and down, at one point winning three straight before losing four of its last five entering this weekend
- Trey Hedden is the signal caller for the Paladins, boasting the third most completions per game in the nation with 23.2, tossing 14 touchdowns but throwing 12 interceptions
- Hedden's completion percentage of 69% ranks 11^th nationwide, his 2,513 yards rank 6^th and his yards per game of 251.3 8^th
- The rushing attack of Furman is a balanced one, with six players registering a touchdown; Gavin Hall leads the team with 446 yards while Jayquan Smith has five touchdowns
- Seven receivers have caught touchdowns for Furman, paced by JaKeith Hamilton (5TDs, 424 yards) and Evan James (4TDs, 690 yards)
- Defensively, Joshua Stoneking is a force, averaging 1.25 sacks per game (2^nd, FCS) and leads the country with nearly 2.0 TFLs (19.0) and has a team-best 67.0 tackles with two forced fumbles

- The Paladins have gotten the better of VMI over the years, winning 31 games and losing 11
