VMI Football downed by Wofford

LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI Football Team hosted Wofford on Saturday, dropping the contest by a score of 52-10.

The Keydets drop to 1-9 overall (0-6 SoCon), while Wofford claims its fourth victory in its last five games, moving to 4-6 and 3-3 in the league. VMI will hit the road one last time this year, visiting Furman next Saturday.

How it Happened
First Half

- Chandler Wilson hits Morgan McPhaul for a 73-yard gain, Wilson connects with Sweeney on 4th and goal for the touchdown (7-0, 11:20)

- With Wofford threatening, a pass interference moved the Terriers back and Amaje Parker forces a fumble; Wilson throws interception on ensuing position (7-0, end of 1st)
- Wofford kicks a field goal at 12:05 of the second, punches in a touchdown at the 3:44 mark (7-10), taking that lead into the break

Second Half
- Terriers open the scoring in the second with a 59-yard touchdown (7-17, 13:32 3rd)
- Wofford punched in another score after a 10-play, 80-yard drive, adding seven more after a turnover led to the Terriers' third touchdown of the quarter (7-31, 3:24 3rd)
- Wofford tacked on two more scores in the fourth before Jack Joyce connected on a 30-yard field goal (10-45, 8:47 4th) before the Terriers scored one last time to take the game 52-10
