LEXINGTON, Va. – VMI Women's Swimming & Diving competed in its home finale against a trio on Saturday afternoon at Goodall Pool at VMI Aquatic Center.
The Keydets dropped all three head-to-head matchups against American, Howard, and Saint Francis.
Taking home a pair of diving wins was freshmen
Isabelle Haer, posting a season-best score of 244.20 in the three-meter dive before scoring a first-place mark of 240.85 in the one-meter.
Kicking off the day was a record-breaking feat by the 200 medley relay team consisting of
Ava Phillips,
Parker Belle Fogle,
Emerson Cosner, and
Mackenzie Byrne who snapped an eight-year Rat record with a time of 1:54.87.
Cosner earned VMI's first top-five mark of the evening by placing fourth in the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:12.75. Byrne followed up with a fifth-place finish in the 50 free with a mark of 25.06 and later scored sixth place in the 100 butterfly at 1:00.33.

The Keydets take a short trip across the street to Washington & Lee for the final dual meet of 2025 on Saturday, January 25. After the battle against the Generals, VMI hits the road to Roanoke, Virginia for the Virginia Tech Invitational February 7-9.
