Keydets earn solid performances at Liberty qualifier

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The VMI men's track and field team earned several solid performances Wednesday at the Liberty Twilight Qualifier hosted by Liberty University at Matthes-Hopkins Track Complex in Lynchburg, Virginia.
 
Freshman Zach Denton highlighted the day for the men with a third-place long jump of 6.96 meters (22' 10") for the top mark for the Keydets.
 
Junior Jeremiah Wilks made his outdoor debut with a fourth-place finish in the 200 meter in 21.91 seconds.
 
Freshman Elisha Williams also performed well for VMI with a seventh-place toss in the shot put at 13.46 meters (44' 1.75").
 
Up Next
