Keydets finish with impressive marks at Raleigh Relays

RALEIGH, N.C. – The VMI track and field teams completed the second and final day of the Raleigh Relays with impressive distances Saturday morning at NC State's Paul Derr Track Facility in Raleigh, North Carolina.

Sophomore pole vaulter Taylor Hill had the best day of VMI's three competitors as she finished sixth overall with a height of 3.65 meters (11' 11.75") to tie a personal-best mark for the event.
 
In the women's long jump, junior Eleyah Armstrong placed 14th overall with a distance of 5.71 meters, or 18'8."
 
Senior Andrew Granger competed in the men's hammer throw and finished with a best distance of 48.73 meters, or 159'10" for 37th place in the field.
 
Up Next
