DAVIDSON, N.C. – The VMI men's and women's swimming and diving teams performed well Saturday at Davidson College at the Charles A. Cannon Pool.
"I'm very impressed with our swims on the road this afternoon after strong racing on Friday," said head coach
Scott Thacker. "We are really happy with where we are and are looking forward to our final preparation for the conference championship meet in a few weeks."
Swimming Highlights:

Rachel Bearz, and
Anna Grace Adams placed second in the 200 medley relay

Chino Vera,
Chase Lane,
Malik Nelson and
Jack Sheehan placed third in the 200 medley relay

Conner Jorgensen finished third in the 1000 free
*Nelson placed first in the 50 free
*
Ethan Griffith finished second in the 200 IM, and in his next event placed first in the 100 fly

Jack Sheehan placed first in the 100 breaststroke, and
Tommy Lees finished 3
rd;
Sheehan also finished second in the 100 free
*Wasser finished third in the 100 back
Diving Roundup:

Bridger Thurston placed 3rd on both the 1M and 3M board
*
London Yerasimides took 4th on both boards, while
Ella Davenport was 5th on both boards and set a PR in the 3m.
Davidson won both the men's (153-84) and women's (183-51) team scoring.
