Keydets Conclude VMI Invitational with Strong Marks

LEXINGTON, Va. - The VMI track and field teams continued to show improvement and strong effort with several broken personal records Saturday to conclude the VMI Invitational at the Corps Physical Training Facility.

Sophomore Eleyah Armstrong came in fourth place in the long jump with a distance of 5.78 meters. Fellow sophomore distance runner Gretal Shank also placed fourth in the 800 meter with a time of 2:27.03 before turning in a fifth-place mark in the mile run in 5:35.63.

Caroline Fiorillo came in 10^th place in the 3000 meter run with a personal record time of 12:08.10.
