The Keydets (4-9, 2-2) head into the weekend looking for a berth in the SoCon Tournament. The outcome is more dependent on the result of Saturday's High Point vs. Mercer game, which Mercer would need to defeat High Point by seven goals in order to be slotted into the tournament in place of VMI.

VMI is coming off a dominant 21-5 win over Hampton led by freshman attack Luke Rusterucci, who logged seven points on three goals and four assists on the day. Luke Mryncza and AJ Stamos both registered six points apiece in the win as Mryncza tallied a game-high four goals throughout the contest.

Junior Scout Ripley leads the Keydets with 36 points on the season on 24 goals and 12 assists while Hartley Jordan and Rusterucci are close behind with 32 points apiece. Josh Bass has been a solid offensive contributor all season with 24 points on 15 goals and nine assists this season.

Goalie Jack Liselli earned his third individual win of the season with Saturday's victory over the Pirates and now has 140 saves for the year.
