LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI wrestling team will hold its annual intrasquad scrimmage Thursday at 6:30 p.m. in New Barracks on Post.

The Red Team will battle the Black Team and the bout will be scored just like a regular dual match.

"We are very excited to be holding our Intrasquad event in New Barracks again this year," said head coach Jim Gibson. "It was a phenomenal atmosphere last year, and we are expecting it to be even more so this season. The leadership amongst the Corps of Cadets have done an outstanding job thus far helping us prepare and promote the event. The competitiveness in our wrestling room this fall has jumped levels, so I'm anticipating there being some highly contested matches."
