Biography

2024-25: Wrestled between three weight classes (141, 149, 157 pounds), tallying seven victories including one conference win over Presbyterian…recorded six tournament wins…had two major decisions…went 1-2 at the SoCon Championships while competing at 157 pounds…placed fifth in the 149F bracket at the Journeymen Wrestling Collegiate Classic...landed on the SoCon Honor Roll.

2023-24: Named to the SoCon Academic Honor Roll...competed in three matchups including a pair at the Southeast Open at 141 pounds.

2022-23: (Freshman)
  • Started the year 7-4 before sitting out the rest of the season with injury
  •  Had two pins and two major decisions
  • Took third at 141 pounds in the Fr./So. Division at the Southeast Open on Nov. 5
  • Placed second in his pool at 149 pounds at the Journeymen Classic Nov. 13

Before VMI: Wrestled at 113, 120 and 132 pounds … a 144-35 career record … 2022 state runner-up at 132 pounds … took fifth at states in 2021 … a two-time district finalist, a three-time sectional champion, two-time conference MVP … two-time academic All-Ohio …. highest win percentage in school history and the first league champion … team captain.
