LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI wrestling team released its 2021-22 schedule Wednesday, with competition starting in early November.

The Keydets open the season November 7 at the Southeast Open in Roanoke, Va., followed by the Journeymen Classic in Manheim, Pa. on Nov. 14 and at the Navy Classic Nov. 20.

VMI hosts West Virginia University on December 12 in Cormack Hall in the first home match of the season. Southern Conference action begins for the Keydets on January 8 with a match against Gardner-Webb University, preceded by a non-conference clash with Bloomsburg University earlier that same day.    

The SoCon Championships are slated for Saturday, March 5, with the NCAA Championships March 17-19 in Detroit, Mich.
