Patrick Jordon at 149 pounds and
Eric Doran at 157 pounds, the Keydets were able to get in the score book. Jordon used a late reversal to go up 6-4, before Doran fended off a late attack by the Huskies to score the 8-6 decision.
Down 17-6, VMI cut the deficit in half after 174-pounder
Beau Lewis scored a dominating 19-1 technical fall to make it just a six-point dual. Despite the efforts, VMI was outplayed by Bloomsburg, winning the remaining three bouts all within a three-point decision.
