After the Pioneers and Huskies face off at 11 a.m., the Keydets will then take on Sacred Heart at 1 p.m., followed by their bout against Bloomsburg at 3 p.m.
This will be VMI's first dual since November 22, when the Keydets swept their tri-meet slate by dominating Mercyhurst, 42-6, and ending the event with a stellar 28-10 performance against Duke. With the victories, VMI moves to 3-0 at Cormack Hall and eclipses 600 dual victories in program history.
Stepping up in the last dual was 125-pounder
Waylon Rogers, who scored a pair of major decisions in his first home starts, while 141-pounder
Phoenix Alyea recorded a first-period fall in his first match and a major decision in the nightcap.
At the Cliff Keen Las Vegas Invitational, the Keydets had a pair of bout victories from 149-pounder
Patrick Jordon and 165-pounder
Ryan Vigil. Jordon tallied a first-period pin in the opening round that advanced him to the round of 16, where he would hold the third-ranked 149-pounder Lachlan McNeil to a tight decision. Meanwhile, Vigil earned a decision on the consolation side of the bracket.
