He is a candidate for the U19 Australian Basketball Squad that would play in Latvia in July if selected. Rowe also participated in the 2019 Basketball Without Borders camp in Tokyo which is organized by the NBA and FIBA and made "top 5" distinction and won the best leadership award.

Rowe competed in the 2019 U18 Australian junior championships which reached the national championship and averaged 8.0 points and 7.6 rebounds in the tournament.

"I am very excited about Lewis joining the VMI Basketball family," said VMI basketball coach Dan Earl.   "Lewis a skilled big man that will be an ideal fit for our team. His passing ability is something that makes him a perfect center in our offense. He can also score around the basket, as well as step out beyond the 3-point line. We believe he is just scratching the surface as a player and his best basketball is ahead of him. He is a hard-working individual that will illustrate the values of VMI on and off the court."
