Earliest memory of soccer:
This happened when I was in the first grade, playing recreational soccer for a team called the Grasshoppers.

Favorite athletic memory, as of the start of this season:
My favorite athletic memory was when I scored the winning penalty kick as the fifth shooter in the Raleigh Shootout tournament final.

Favorite Movie/Book and why:

Movie: “Batman: The Dark Knight” - because I have always been a huge Batman fan. In fact, the first movie I ever saw in theatres was Batman with Michael Keaton.

Book: “A Separate Peace” by John Knowles ? I read this book in tenth grade high school English, and have read it three times since, because it tells a great story of two young men and their struggles and relationship.

Why did you choose VMI?
I chose VMI because I wanted to go to a state school with strong academic and soccer programs, and I wanted to get the most out of my college experience.

What has been your favorite class during your time here?
My favorite class was the one I took this summer in Washington, D.C. for my Science and Security minor: Science, Security and Intelligence.

When you have an hour of free time, you like to...
I enjoy watching movies with my roommates or hanging out with my teammates.

What sporting venue would you most like to visit?
A World Cup final.

When surfing the Internet, what web site do you most frequently visit?
Facebook, because I get to stay in touch with all my friends at other schools across the country.

Favorite sport to watch (other than soccer):
Football, especially college football.

Washington Redskins

If you could eat dinner with three other people, living or not, who would they be and why?
My mom's mother and my dad's father, because I never got the chance to meet them, since they both passed away before I was born.

Describe a random part of your practice/training regimen, and tell why you do that:
I have to take a shower when I get to the locker room before every game, because it is a good luck tradition that was passed down to me when I was a freshman.

What is your top post-graduation goal?

I want to become governor of the Commonwealth of Virginia.
