VMI falters against Presbyterian on Sunday

CLINTON, S.C. – VMI Men's Soccer dropped its road outing Sunday afternoon against Presbyterian at Edens Field at Martin Stadium.
 
The Keydets' (1-2-1) offense was limited in scoring opportunities due to the tough Blue Hose (2-1-1) defense during the first half. VMI was able to pick it up in the second frame, but Presbyterian never wavered, claiming a 4-1 result.

- VMI put up three shots, all in the second half.
- Arnold Rutkauskas recorded a goal off a corner kick assist from Jesse Lee.
- Zack Murphy tallied a season-high six saves after facing 17 total shots.
- Lee put up a pair of shots on target.
- Murphy, Rutkauskas, and Jack Miller played all 90 minutes.
