Named the Southern Conference Defensive Player of the Year in both the media and coaches’ polls after leading the league in tackles per game (11.0)
- 76 tackles in 7 regular season games, including a career-high 21 versus The Citadel
- Helped VMI capture its first SoCon title since 1977 and first-ever FCS playoffs bid with 9.5 tackles for loss (64 yards), eight sacks (62 yards) and four QB hurries
- Had 12 tackles in the first round of the playoffs against #1 James Madison on April 24
- Finished third in voting for the Buck Buchanan FCS defensive Player of the Year honor

2019 (Freshman) – Played in 10 of 12 games seeing time at reserve inside linebacker and special teams…saw more playing time as the season progressed and was on the field for 81 plays against Army Nov. 16…made starts against Furman and Army…posted 24 tackles on the season…produced season-highs with eight tackles and five solos for 13 tackles against Army.


High School: Earned first-team All-Metro and All-State Class 4 honors, splitting time between free safety and linebacker at Monacan HS in Chesterfield, Va.…also a first-team all-region honoree as an offensive utility…made 25 solo tackles as a senior with 12 assists…played quarterback on offense, passed for 2,364 yards and 35 touchdowns (the most in school history), while rushing for 1,356 yards and 10 TDs…also served as the team’s punter…the Monacan Scholar-Athlete of the month for November 2018…was the defensive captain 
for the under-19 U.S. National Football team that took the bronze medal in Mexico City in the summer of 2018…his dad played football at Shepherd University.
