Men’s Track completes Virginia Challenge

CHARLOTTESVILLE, Va. – The VMI men's track and field team wrapped up the second day of the Virginia Challenge with excellent finishes Saturday at the University of Virginia's Lannigan Field in Charlottesville.

Junior pole vaulter Cameron Thomas came in seventh place overall with a jump of 4.87 meters (15' 11.75") for the top mark of the day for the Keydets.

Rye Jackson finished 29th overall in the 400m dash with a time of 48.95 seconds to wrap up the day for the VMI men at the event.

The Keydets return to action next weekend to compete at the John Weaver Invitational hosted by App State University in Boone, North Carolina.
