VMI Director of Track and Field Zack Scott
"Day 2 was a strong follow-up to Friday and another step forward as we build toward championship season. Cameron Thomas set the tone again—just like last week—with a win in the pole vault, and Deonte Harris backed it up on the track with a 7th-place finish in the 60m hurdles final.

"On the women's side, we had big scoring efforts across the sprints and hurdles. Naturale Faison delivered placing third in the 60m and 4th in the 200m, while JeNiya White led the way in the 60m hurdles and Shea Hart added points with a 7th-place finish."
