STATESBORO, Ga. – Freshman Soraya Sar continued her strong rookie campaign on Friday, advancing to the Southern Conference Championship Smallbore finals and ultimately placing sixth individually in the discipline.

Sar was the only individual outside of participants from No. 6 Georgia Southern and No. 18 North Georgia. Sar totaled a 578 with 29 centers, while Wuyue Xie totaled a 574 with 25 centers.

While Georgia Southern claimed its fifth consecutive team smallbore title, the VMI Women's Team sits in fourth overall (2,253) with the Mixed Team in fifth (2,333).

The top scorer on the mixed side was Alexander Pohlman, who shot a 575 with 24 centers. Kyle Kemp had the second-best score, with a 559 and 23 centers.
