LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI track and field teams are busily preparing for their final tune-up before the SoCon Indoor Championships when the Keydets host the VMI Winter Classic this Saturday at the Corps Physical Training Facility.
The meet is also Senior Day and the 2026 senior class will be recognized at 11:30 a.m.
More than 20 men's and women's teams and over 400 athletes will compete this weekend as schools prepare for their respective conference championships.

"Our Winter Classic is a one-day, final tune-up meet for our team—and for many competitors—before the conference championships. It's another opportunity to fine-tune, compete at a high level, and do it in front of our families, the VMI family and our fans."
Important Bus/Van Parking Information
We have multiple events going on Saturday, Feb. 14 during the Winter Classic so please use the parking map for bus and van drop-off and parking.(see map link below)

- Yellow dots: Team bus/van drop-off and pick-up route
- Red dots: Bus parking only — Tractor Supply (~1 mile away) and Walmart (~1.5 miles away) on Route 11
- Black dots: Team van parking — North Institute Parking Lot
Important: Please do not park team vans across from the indoor facility.
