Throwers highlight Day 2 of Darius Dixon Invite

LYNCHBURG, Va. – The VMI men's track and field team completed the 2025 Darius Dixon Memorial Meet with excellent marks Saturday at Liberty University in Lynchburg, Virginia.

Multiple shot put throwers competed Saturday for VMI, including sophomore Rafe Clendenin who led the team with a 32nd-place distance of 45' 11.75."
 
Senior Hunter David was right behind in 33rd-place overall at 45' 10.25" just ahead of 34th place Elisah Williams at 45' 9.75."
 
Freshman Tazewell Rae rounded up the VMI throwers with a 39th-place shot put distance of 44' 4.25."
