Junior TJ Johnson earned his fourth career double-double as he logged 22 points to go with 11 rebounds in the win. Cal Liston came up just one point shy of his first career double-double as he registered 12 boards in the victory.

About Loyola (4-6)
The Greyhounds have experienced an up-and-down season to this point with four wins paired with six losses. While picking up wins over Penn State Abington, Stonehill, Washington College and Coppin State, Loyola has fallen to Towson, NJIT, Fairfield, Duquesne, #12 Kentucky and most recently to Hampton on the road this past Wednesday.

Four Greyhounds average double figures in scoring led by Jacob Theodosiou's 16.1 per outing and followed by Emmett Adair (11.8) and Braeden Speed (11.6). Jordan Stiemke also ranks among the team's offensive leaders at 10.6 points per game.

Adair leads the team at 5.0 rebounds per game while Theodosiou is the assists leader with 36 through 10 games. Theodosiou is also the best defender on the team with 22 steals thus far.

All-Time Series (0-4)
In a series dating back to 1974, the Greyhounds have won all four all-time contests between the schools. Loyola earned a close 71-69 win in Lexington in the series lid lifter in 1974 before the series resumed 31 years later, a 69-70 VMI defeat in Baltimore in January of 2005. The following season in December 2005, Loyola escaped Lexington with an 87-79 win over the Keydets.  Last year in Baltimore, the Greyhounds again escaped with a 70-67 victory as VMI led for much of the game before Loyola outscored the Keydets by a 40-25 count in the second half to come from behind and steal the victory.

Overall, Loyola's four wins over the Keydets have been by a combined 14 points in an extremely competitive series.
