LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI Women's Rifle Team traveled to No. 17 Morehead State on Saturday, finishing second with an aggregate of 4555 with 200 centers.
The 4555 is the program's best of the 2025-26 season, and the 2254 in smallbore is a new program record for the team.
Freshmen Natalie Steward posted the team's best score in the air rifle with a score of 538, hitting 28 centers. In the smallbore,
Wuyue Xie posted the team's best score of 571 with 27 centers, setting a new personal best and placing seventh overall in the aggregate standings (1151).
Soraya Sar continued her strong rookie campaign, finishing 10th with a score of 1137 overall, hitting 45 centers.
