LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI Rifle Women's Rifle Team opened up its spring 2025 season at Kilbourne Hall on Saturday, setting a new smallbore record of 2241.
While 17th-ranked Morehead State would take the contest, the Keydets picked up where they left off from a successful fall campaign. Individually, Darian Tweedell led VMI with an aggregate of 1143, placing fifth in the smallbore and ninth overall while totaling 42 centers.
Elizabeth Stann was just behind Tweedell with a 1142, shooting a 566 smallbore and 50 centers on the day. Emma Cameron showed well in the air rifle, placing ninth with a score of 578 and 27 centers.
