- The Bucs have been competitive in their two SoCon losses, taking Mercer to the brink and leading Furman in the second half last week
- Creating turnovers has been a calling card for ETSU, as the defense has eight interceptions and four fumbles recovered
- The Bucs are led on offense by Cade McNamara (previously of Iowa and Michigan) who has a passer rating of 125.7, with his main target being Ephraim Floyd whose5.83 receptions per game ranks 16
th in the FCS
- Running back Devontae Houston has five total touchdowns on the year and averages 90.6 all-purpose yards per game
