High Expectations in 2025-26
After achieving 15 wins last season – only the 12th time in program history the Keydets have earned at least that number of victories – the expectations for continued success are palpable under fourth-year Head Coach Andrew Wilson.

The Keydets are led by sole senior Rickey Bradley, Jr., who was named the Southern Conference Preseason Player of the Year at SoCon Basketball Media Day in early October.

With five key starters returning to the lineup as well as a number of returners with significant playing experience, the Keydets return the second highest level of production in the country.

About the Johnson & Wales Wildcats
Nantambu Calhoun is the team's leading returner after earning 24 starts a year ago and averaging 8.9 points per game including 42 three-pointers.

Guard Jordan Appling is another key returner after starting 22 games last season to go with 6.1 points per game and 59 assists. Ethan Smith returns after achieving 26 starts in 2024-25 and averaging 8.2 points per game. He also ranked among the team's leading rebounders at 4.9 boards per outing.

Monday's game will count as an exhibition for the Wildcats. J&W competes at the NCAA Division III level as a basketball independent.
