The Keydets return two-time SoCon Preseason Player of the Year Rickey Bradley, Jr. as well as 2026 Third Team All-SoCon recipient TJ Johnson to lead the Keydets for their senior season. The roster also features senior AJ Clark, who earned SoCon All-Defensive Team honors following his sophomore season in 2024-25.

A few tidbits heading into the 2026-27 campaign:

*VMI is the only Division I team in the country with two sets of brothers: TJ and Trap Johnson (Belton, Texas) and Rickey Bradley, Jr. and Cazell Henderson-Bradley (Milwaukee, Wisc.)

*Rickey Bradley, Jr. is the SoCon Preseason Player of the Year for a second straight year. Although he was tabbed the league's Preseason POTY last season, he was injured last October in practice and did not play the entire 2025-26 season.

*Rickey Bradley, Jr. and TJ Johnson were named to this year's SoCon Preseason All-Conference team, one of three schools in the league with two honorees (along with Wofford and Furman)

*One of the nation's top three-point threats a year ago, TJ Johnson was a Third Team All-SoCon recipient last season.

*The Keydets roster features a host of new players from Europe, including:
Paulius Narvilas – Klaipeda, Lithuania
Joao Panzo – Porto, Portugal
Zion Vaamonde – Stockholm, Sweden
Rodrigas Jucevicius – Stockholm, Sweden
Dionysis Exarchopoulos – Kitsi, Koropi, Greece
