Granger takes ninth in hammer at Penn Relays

PHILADELPHIA – VMI senior thrower Andrew Granger is off to a good start for the VMI men's track and field team as he performed well in the hammer throw Thursday evening.

The Marietta, Georgia, native came in ninth place in the event with a distance of 56.99 meters, or 186' 11."

Nathan Williams of Stevenson took first place at 62.13 meters followed by Brian Luciano of Binghamton in second place at 61.18 meters.
