LEXINGTON, Va. – Coming off the heels of a strong first season under head coach Danny Rocco, the VMI Football Team will open up its spring season on Tuesday afternoon at Fiorini Field.

The Keydets will practice on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 5:00 p.m., with Saturday sessions commencing at 2:00 p.m. and serving as Alumni Days.  

The team will break for Spring Furlough on March 22, and return to the field April 2. When the team returns from break, the Keydets will practice April2-4, have another break for spring FTX and resume practice on April 11.

Spring ball will wrap up on Thursday, April 25.

Rocco and VMI made some noise in the fall, winning five games (5-6) for just the fourth time in the last 20 years, reclaiming the Silver Shako with a win over The Citadel and ending the season with a top-20 victory over No. 14 Western Carolina.
