Track & Field to host VMI Winter Classic this weekend

LEXINGTON, Va. – Hosting its final meet of the indoor regular season, the VMI track and field teams welcome multiple schools to the VMI Winter Classic set for Friday and Saturday, February 9-10, at the Corps Physical Training Facility.

With the Southern Conference Indoor Championships two weeks away, the Keydets will use the meet as a final tune-up to prepare for the big event. Multiple cadet-athletes will compete looking to earn personal records to start to peak at the right time of the season.
 
A total of 350 athletes are registered to compete, including 183 male and 167 female athletes. Division I competition at the meet will include App State, North Carolina A&T, USC Upstate and SoCon foe Wofford College.
