Women’s T&F completes VMI Winter Relays with personal bests

LEXINGTON, Va.
– The VMI women's track and field team completed the 2024 VMI Winter Relays with excellent marks as evidenced by new personal benchmarks set Saturday at the Corps Physical Training Facility.
 
In the 800 meter, freshman Olivia Hurd placed sixth overall with a personal record time of 2:21.73, while junior Gretal Shank came in seventh in 2:22.79. Freshman Evelyn Anderson also showed well by registering a personal record time of 2:29.36 for 16th place.
 
In the shot put, freshmen Kayla Osbourne and Gracie Harlow achieved new personal records with respective distances of 9.91 meters and 9.67 meters.
