Wrestling faces #24 Campbell for Senior Night

LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI wrestling team will play host to nationally ranked Campbell University Saturday evening at 5 p.m. as the designated Senior Night match for the program.

VMI (9-10, 2-5) will honor seniors Ethan Barrett, David Diaz, Isaac Dolph, Travis Fridley, Reid Hampton, Brian Jackson, Freddy Junko, Tyler Mousaw and Josh Yost in a ceremony set to take place at 4:40 p.m. right before the match begins.

The Keydets look to bounce back from last weekend after falling to Davidson by a close 24-19 score last Friday before sustaining a 28-10 defeat at Gardner-Webb Sunday.

About the #24 Campbell Camels
Led by Scotti Sentes, the nationally ranked Camels boast a 13-3 overall record for the year including a perfect 7-0 mark in conference dual action. Their only losses this season were to #9 Nebraska (37-4), #19 Stanford (19-17) and a close loss to Purdue by a 21-17 margin.

In SoCon action, the only school to come close to defeating the Camels was Appalachian State as the Mountaineers fell by a 22-16 in Buies Creek back on February 2.
