LEXINGTON, Va. – Phil Steele announced his 2024 postseason All-Conference and All-American teams, with a total of eight Keydets earning recognition.
Hunter Rice,
Tyriq Poindexter and
Tommy Inge represented the offense on the All-SoCon Team with
Eric Rankin,
Shamus Jones and
Dorien Starnes on defense and
Austin Fletcher representing special teams. Fletcher alongside
Asa Locks were named to the Phil Steele FCS Freshman All-American Team.
Jones, Rankin, Poindexter, Rice and Fletcher earned
All-SoCon honors following the season, while Inge and Starnes were key pieces to the VMI offense and defensive lines, respectively.
