LEXINGTON, Va. – The VMI Rifle program hosted Wofford and John Jay on Saturday, with the mixed team claiming first place and the women's side taking second in a successful afternoon.
The mixed team scored their highest aggregate of the year, posting a 4586 while the women continued their impressive streak of setting new program aggregate records each outing, posting a 4563.
Darian Tweedell led all individuals with an aggregate of 1166 with 79 centers, recording the top scores in air rifle (589) and smallbore (577). Elizabeth Stann and Emma Cameron helped carry the women's squad as well, with respective aggregates of 1136 and 1133.
Christopher Hicks placed second overall, with an aggregate of 1160 and 69 centers. Ryan Harlow (1155) rounded out the top three overall, as Keydets claimed seven of the top 10 spots overall.
